Privacy Policy

Last updated November 3, 2026

This policy covers terratechlandsolutions.com. It explains what we collect when you use the site, what we do with it and what choices you have. If you have a question about it, call or text us at 417-389-1016 or email jim@terratechlandsolutions.com.

The short version

  • We collect what you send us through the quote form, and use it to answer your request and do the work.
  • We don't sell your personal information or share it with anyone except the services below that run the site.
  • We don't use advertising cookies or track you across other websites.

What we collect

When you send a quote request, we receive what you enter:

  • your name, and your company if you give one
  • your phone number and email address, how you'd like us to contact you and the best time to reach you
  • how you heard about us
  • where the land is: the address, the state and any area you draw on the map, with the acreage it works out
  • your answers about the land, your notes and your photos
  • your timing, any date you need it done by and if you're using cost-share

We also record when the request was sent, the browser it came from and whether our emails about it went out. If you ask us to text you, we keep a record of the texting consent wording you saw and when you chose it.

We don't store your internet address. We store a scrambled code made from it, and use it only to limit spam.

Photos are usually shrunk on your device before they're sent, which also removes hidden details like where they were taken. If your browser can't shrink a photo, we receive the original as it is.

When you call, text or email us, we receive whatever you send, like any phone or email conversation.

How we use it

We use your information to answer your request and give you a price. If you hire us, we use it to plan and do the work and to keep records of our jobs. If you choose to be texted, we'll text you about your request and nothing else. We don't add you to a mailing list.

Who helps us run the site

These services handle parts of the site for us. They get only what they need to do that job.

  • 2K Web Developments built the site and manages its hosting, and can see stored requests to keep the site running.
  • Cloudflare hosts the website, stores quote requests and photos and runs the spam check on the quote form (Cloudflare Turnstile). Turnstile looks at technical information from your browser to tell people from bots. Cloudflare also sends the site's emails: your request to us, and a copy to you if you gave an email address. The email we get links to your photos and attaches the ones that fit, so copies can also sit in our email inboxes.
  • Map and address search. The satellite map's pictures come from the U.S. Geological Survey's National Map through our server, which keeps a copy at Cloudflare for up to 30 days. Your browser doesn't contact USGS. When you search for an address, our server passes the words you typed to the U.S. Census Bureau's address search and, if that doesn't find it, to OpenStreetMap's Nominatim search. They see the search words, not who you are. Search results are kept at Cloudflare for up to a day so repeat searches are faster.
  • The "Use my location" button only works if you allow it in your browser. It moves the map to where you are, and your location isn't sent to us. (If the map can't load, the form sends that spot as where your land is instead.)
  • Visitor counts. 2K Web Developments counts page visits for us with its own tool, LiveDash, so we can see which pages help people. It also counts taps on our phone, text and email links and quote requests that went through. For each one it keeps the page, the time, your country, the type of device (phone or computer), the name of the website that sent you there (not the full address) and the campaign name if the link you followed had one. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't keep your internet address, your browser details or anything else that identifies you, so it can't follow you to other sites.

Cookies and saved drafts

This site doesn't set advertising or tracking cookies. While you fill out the quote form, your answers and photos are saved in your own browser so you don't lose them if you leave the page. That copy stays on your device. It's cleared when you send the form. If you don't send it, it stays until you clear this site's data in your browser.

Your browser's Do Not Track setting doesn't change anything here, because we don't track you across sites.

How long we keep it

We keep quote requests and photos as business records. If you'd like yours deleted, ask us and we'll delete it from our records and inboxes, unless we need to keep it for a job we did for you or a legal reason. The email service may keep its own delivery logs for a time, which we can't erase.

Your choices

You can ask what we have about you. You can also ask us to correct it or delete it. Call or text 417-389-1016 or email jim@terratechlandsolutions.com.

Children

This site is for property owners and isn't meant for children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
